Account Login
The Account Login section includes your personal profile, and your Download Manager containing previously purchased images. If you want to register, change your personal profile, or review previously purchased images, Account Login is where you want to start.
Register
Our registration form requires a user name, password, email address, and some other information such as mailing and billing profiles. Once you have completed the registration form click the Register Now button.
You will need to remember your user name and password to access or change your personal and billing profiles. If you forget your password you will be prompted to enter your email address. We will promptly email back your password.
Benefits of Registration
As a registered user you will have access to your Download Manager and billing history to review previous purchases. You will also have access to your unique FogStock Lightbox, and non-watermarked comping images.
Download Manager
After registering you can use the Download Manager to view and download previously purchased images. Images are available for download for 90 days after the time of purchase.

This site is owned and operated by FogStock, LLC. All of the material and content on this web site including, but limited to, text, graphics, photographs, and software are owned by FogStock, LLC, its licensors, and its image providers.

FogStock, its logo, and FogStock,LLC are trademarks of FogStock,LLC and may be registered in some countries.
Privacy Policy
At FogStock we realize that your privacy is important. We collect certain information that enables us to do business with you and enhance your experience while using our web site.
Your name, phone number, address, email address, and credit card information are necessary to complete payment to us. We use your email to send you a confirmation of your order. Your credit card information is transmitted through a secure connection, and stored in a secure location within FogStock. Only authorized personnel have access to your credit card information. We understand your concern over the safety of this information, and we have taken steps to protect it.
We collect some information about what areas of our web site you visit. We analyze this data to determine what is of interest to our customers as a group, and thereby improve our web site, but we do not analyze it to find out any more about what you are interested in as an individual.
We also collect information so that we can design our web site to be viewable and useful for the majority of our clients. Therefore, we collect information such as your browser version and the size of your screen.
We collate a record of your orders, your Lightbox, billing profile, and other miscellaneous account information for you in the Account Login area. It has been created solely for your information and benefit. It is not accessible to anyone outside of FogStock besides you.
At the time of registration, we ask you for your email address so that we can notify you of discounts and special offers. Some of these discounts can only be taken advantage of through the email you receive.
If at any time you find that you are receiving any email from us that you do not want, please forward the message you received to us at office@fogstock.com. Write "Cancel" in the subject field, and you should no longer receive any emails of that type from us.
FogStock currently does not share any information about you with any other company, organization, or individual, except where necessary to complete a purchase that you have authorized.
We reserve the right to change this policy in the future, but will first post any change of policy. You may check this site at any time to view our current privacy policy.
We place a cookie on your local machine when you visit us. It contains a string of nonsense letters and numbers that allows our web server to recognize you from page to page on our site. It is not linked to you as an individual at any time.
At no time are cookies used to track where you have been either before or after you visit FogStock's web site. No other web site can access any information about you from the cookies we may store on your local computer.

Security
The personal information you send to FogStock is always secure. When you register with FogStock, log onto our web site, or submit information to us, we create a secure connection that encrypts any information you send to us. It is only readable once it has arrived. Your information is stored at FogStock in a highly secure location that can only be accessed by authorized personnel.

Lightbox
The FogStock Lightbox is a simple and easy-to-use management tool for you to store images to access at a later date. Your Lightbox can be organized into groups or subsets of images. As you search for images you can add a photograph to your Lightbox by clicking on the Lightbox icon underneath each image thumbnail or image preview. Click on the Lightbox toolbar to view the contents of your Lightbox.
Once you are in your Lightbox you may email some or all of the images to any email address you wish. Click on the check box below each image and then follow the email instructions.
The contents of your Lightbox are saved for 90 days. Your saved images will automatically be removed from your Lightbox after that time. You may delete an image at any time from your Lightbox by clicking on the Remove from Lightbox icon below each image.

Purchasing and Downloading
View your Shopping Cart
After you have selected the images and products you want to buy, proceed to your shopping cart. This can be accessed by clicking the View Cart button or by clicking on any of the cart icons found throughout the site.
Note: You can continue to shop by clicking the Keep Shopping button or any of the main navigation buttons.
Review the contents. View larger images by clicking on the thumbnails.
Remove an item by clicking the Remove button next to it.
When you are satisfied with your cart click Continue.
If you already have a FogStock account, you will go directly to Final Checkout page.
If you do not have a FogStock account, create one at this time by entering your email and password on the Account Setup page. Fill in your shipping address, billing address, and credit card information. Click Submit, and proceed to the Final Checkout page.
Proceed to Final Checkout
On the Final Checkout page, review and make any necessary changes to your shipping, billing, and credit card information. When all information is correct click Finish and you are done. If you are buying only CD products you will get a Thank You page. If you are buying only downloadable products you will be sent to your Download Manager. The Download Manager will give you clear instructions on how to download your purchases. You may download an image at any time within 90 days of the date of purchase. This includes images you have purchased on CD products. After 90 days images you have purchased will be removed form your Download Manager.
If you are buying downloadable as well as CD products you will be sent to your Download Manager, which will include a message with details about shipment of the CDs.

Licensing
At FogStock you have the choice to purchase royalty free imagery or rights controlled imagery.
Royalty Free Imagery
Royalty Free implies that you pay only once for an image that may be used for multiple uses that are not based on time of use, circulation number, or broadcast area. Furthermore you may use Royalty Free imagery perpetually for many different projects.
Rights Controlled Imagery
FogStock Rights Controlled images are licensed for one time, one year use only. They may be used for one specific application over limited amount of time. Using a FogStock Rights Controlled Image for more than one application or for more than one year is prohibited. If you are interested in multi-use rights, multi-year rights, worldwide rights, or industry exclusive rights on a Rights Controlled Image please contact FogStock.
Use and Restrictions
The FogStock, LLC license applies to a wide variety of print and media applications. This may include but is not limited to:
Advertising campaigns, promotional print materials, brochures, product packaging, web pages, interactive multimedia, logos, editorial articles, and newsletters.
All uses for book covers, motion picture industry uses, magazines covers, or any other exclusive use must be negotiated with FogStock prior to purchase of the image or images.
The FogStock, LLC license does not grant rights for the following uses:
You cannot allow images to be downloaded from any web site, or your client's web site.
You cannot create a product that competes with a FogStock product such as: a stock photography collection, calendar, t-shirts, or other items. If you wish to resell any FogStock product you must contact office@fogstock.com for more information.
You are not permitted to redistribute the content as stock photography, clip art, web art, or in any other form.
You may not use specific government, company, or person's names, initials, and emblems for any commercial purposes or to express or imply endorsement or sponsorship of any commercial product, or activity.

Comping Images
FogStock offers free comping images for limited use such as layouts, proofing presentations, and image inspection. Comping images are not licensed for use in final projects and applications, which require payment for either a royalty free or rights contolled image license.
At FogStock we use invisible watermarks. In your layouts and proofs you will see images in their pure non-watermarked form.
FogStock will be able to detect if any free comping image is being used without authority in electronic media such as a web site.

Rights Controlled vs. Royalty Free Images
Royalty Free Imagery
Royalty free images are an affordable solution that gives you flexibility. You do not have to worry about specific licensing terms, and you may reuse an image as often as you like.
You pay only once for royalty free images, and may use them for multiple projects. Their use is not limited by length of use, time of use, circulation figures, or broadcast area.
Royalty free should not be used when you need to associate your client's product or service with a specific image, because you do not control the use of images by others. Use our rights controlled imagery in those instances.
Rights Controlled Imagery
FogStock rights controlled images should be used when your client needs imagery that will be more closely associated with their product or service. Because it is rights controlled, usage is limited and there is little chance of imagery being used by a competitor or in a broad campaign.
FogStock rights controlled images are licensed for one-time use for a duration of one year. They may be used for one specific application over a limited amount of time. Using a FogStock rights controlled image for more than one project or for more than one year is prohibited. If you are interested in multi-use rights, multi-year rights, worldwide rights, or industry exclusive rights on a rights controlled image, please contact FogStock.

Subscription Membership
As a FogStock subscriber you have access to download any FogStock Royalty Free images for a one month, six month, or one year period of time.
FogStock Rights Controlled images are not included in a subscription membership. Rights Controlled images must be purchased as single product.
As a subscriber you have virtually unlimited use of the FogStock Royalty Free images under the terms of the current Licensing Agreement.
You may download 20 images per day for the length of your subscription.
You may renew your subscription at anytime.
Once your account is set up simply log-on to your account, choose an image you need, and follow the downloading instructions.
